Elemental metals (copper, gold, tin, lead, silicon, mercury, uranium and nickel) enter the oceans at a rapid rate (uranium enters the ocean 100 times easier than leaves). The content of these metals in the ocean is much less than it should be if they were millions of years old. The low content of uranium is an accurate indicator that the oceans are a few thousand years old.
Virtually all meteorites that have hit the earth are found in surface rocks and craters - all dated at a few thousand years. There should have been more in ancient times than now.
